A real train ride. Trackless. Delivered.
No rails required
Dallas and Fort Worth’s Party Trains — a safe, fun attraction that adds unique value to your special event. It travels just about anywhere and doesn’t need rails to get you there.
A fun ride for everyone from young children to adults young at heart. Kids especially enjoy riding as the train chugs, toots and whistles around the event, letting them wave at friends and family when they pass by.
Rates are By-the-Hour or Per Ride with a low deposit and delivery fee. Fully insured.

Meet the train
The Mini Freight Train
One gasoline-powered locomotive with an old-fashioned steam train look, authentic gondola freight cars and a trailing little caboose.
- 1 gasoline-powered locomotive and 5 train cars
- Each train car holds up to 4 small children (total of 20 riders)
- Or 2 medium-size kids per car
- Or 1 adult and two children per car (up to 5 adults)
- Only one adult per car due to weight restrictions
- Unruly passengers will be asked to leave

School carnivals, day care centers and fall festivals run on throughput. The Choo Choo Express loads fast, circles the campus, and can be hired by the hour or sold per ride as a fundraiser.

It started with a love of trains
A railfan’s wish
“Being an admitted railfan for over 40 years, I’ve often wished I could share my love of railroading with my family and friends during a special event.”
That wish became Choo Choo Express Trackless Trains — a fun, entertaining attraction with the look and feel of a real train, brought straight to family events across Texas.

Package A
Train By-the-Hour
$450 first hour
$300 each additional hour
- Unlimited rides
- Includes delivery within a 75-mile radius of Arlington, Texas
- Minimum 1 or 2 hours (minimum depends on season or holidays)
- Requires a $100 deposit to reserve a conductor and train
Package B
Train By-the-Ride
$8 for one ride
$15 for two rides · $20 for three rides · $5 each additional ride
- Minimum 3 hours
- Great for carnivals, festivals and fairs
- Requires a performance deposit of at least $600 or $200 per hour, whichever is greater, plus delivery fee. Deposit returned based on sales.

Insured, delivered and operated by our conductor.
Operating requirements
- We need a flat surface (like concrete or asphalt).
- Grass may be okay if it is flat and dry with no hills.
- Hills with inclines are not acceptable or safe for our train and passengers, and may cause a surcharge of at least $100.
Weather policy
- Bad weather events will receive full credit or be rescheduled.
- Rain cancellation refunds available depending on when the cancellation is made.
- Weather cancellations can be made no sooner than 48 hours in advance of start time.

Most dates book 3–6 weeks out
Spring festivals, fall carnivals and December holiday weekends fill first. A $100 deposit holds your date — and if no deposit is made, the date can be released two weeks after your first inquiry.
