Minimums may be 1 or 2 hours depending on season or holidays — book early for holiday dates.

Booking considerations

Before you book

  • Holiday dates fill quickly; a $100 deposit reserves a conductor and train for hourly bookings.
  • We generally do not operate in rain; light rain may be tolerable.
  • Weather cancellations can be made no sooner than 48 hours in advance of start time.

For organizers & committees

  • Certificate of Insurance (COI) available on request — we can name your school, church or city as additional insured.
  • W-9 and itemized invoices provided for purchase orders and district or corporate accounting.
  • Tax-exempt organizations: send your exemption certificate with your booking request.
  • Purchase orders, checks and major credit cards accepted (4% added on credit cards).

Questions we get

Can the train be in a parade?
Street parades are among the events we serve. Some public streets may require a permit — check with your city.
What happens if the weather turns?
Bad weather events receive full credit or can be rescheduled. Rain cancellation refunds depend on when the cancellation is made.
Is the caboose part of the Mini Freight Train?
Yes — the Mini Freight Train includes the locomotive, gondola freight cars and a trailing little caboose.
