Dallas is our biggest single market, from backyard parties in Lakewood and Preston Hollow to church festivals in Oak Cliff and corporate family days downtown. Our mailing address is on Westminster in Dallas, so this is home turf.

Most of what we do in Dallas is birthday parties and church fall festivals. Wherever the party is — a driveway, a church lot, a school drive loop or a park pavilion — we haul the locomotive and five cars in, run rides for your window, and pack out. You supply the crowd; we supply the bell, the horn and the line of grinning kids.

Local note: Many older Dallas neighborhoods have narrow driveways and alley access. A flat driveway, cul-de-sac or church parking lot works best; we just need a clear loop with no steep inclines.

Do you deliver a trackless train to Dallas, Texas?

Yes. Dallas is roughly 20 miles from our Arlington base, which is inside our 75-mile radius — delivery is included in the price with no mileage fee.

How much does a train ride cost in Dallas?

Hourly rentals are $450 first hour and $300 each additional hour with unlimited rides. For festivals and carnivals we also sell rides by the ticket — $8 for one ride or $15 for two rides. A $100 deposit reserves your Dallas date.

Do we need a track or rails in Dallas?

No. The train is completely trackless — it drives on your driveway, parking lot, drive loop or flat dry grass. There is nothing to install and no pit to dig.

Do we need a permit for a train ride in a Dallas park?

City parks and some public streets in Dallas County may require a permit from the local Parks and Recreation department. Private property, church lots and school campuses generally do not. We are fully insured and can provide a Certificate of Insurance naming your organization.

How many kids can ride at once in Dallas?

The Mini Freight Train pulls 5 cars — up to 20 small children, or 2 medium kids per car, or one adult with two children (up to 5 adults). Rides run continuously for the whole rental.
